Do you accept subsidized children?
Yes.
What ages do you take?
Rocket Academy & Early Learning Centre accepts children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
Do you have any openings?
Yes. We are currently accepting enrolment for full and part time children from 6 weeks to 2.5 years of age.
What are your group sizes?
Infant Room - 6 children (6 weeks to 18 months)
Toddler Room - 24 children (18 months to 30 months)
Preschool Room - 44 children (30 months to 6 years)
What are the qualifications of your staff?
Our staff of professionally trained Registered Early Childhood Educators and Ontario Certified Teachers maintains an ongoing daily program plan to enhance all areas of your child’s development and growth. The staff at Rocket Academy & Early Learning Centre who are Registered Early Childhood Educators are registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators. All staff are required to submit current criminal reference checks and health checks upon hire and all have up-to-date training in First Aid and CPR.
What are your fees and how will I be billed?
Rocket Academy & Early Learning Centre has a fee schedule which is updated each year in January, upon enrolment an invoice is provided. Parents pay for child care fees on a monthly or bi-monthly basis via cheque, interac (debit), visa, master card, american express (2% service charge on credit cards) and email transfers.
Does my child have to be toilet trained?
No, we do not expect children to be toilet trained. We are happy to work with children and families during this process to accomplish toilet training goals. We encourage open communication between parents and staff to ensure consistency for the child’s potty training success.
Does your Centre participate in religious teachings?
No.
What if my child has food allergies?
Rocket Academy & Early Learning Centre meals are provided by Wholesome Kids a catering company whose facility is 100% nut-free, pork-free and shellfish-free. Allergy-free meals are prepared in a separate area by a Red Seal Chef. They can accommodate most allergies, multi-allergy requests and religious and dietary restrictions.
