The cost of quality child care is a challenge for many families. We at Rocket Academy are pleased to provide a childcare center which offers high quality and very affordable childcare for children between age 0 months - 4 years. Rocket Academy is a proud participant in the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program; otherwise known as the $10.00 per day childcare. In partnership with the Region of Peel, Rocket Academy also provides spaces to subsidized families. Fee subsidy is available from the Region Of Peel for eligible families. Aside from our qualified staff we are affiliated with a Special Needs Resource Consultant who visits our centre. Our Resource Consultant comes from the Brampton Caledon Community Living under the Peel Inclusion Resource Consultant Services (PIRS).

Rocket Academy & Early Learning Centre is a proud participant of in the Raising the bar program facilitated by Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP).

Explore Our Programs

Infants

Our infant program provides a safe and nurturing environment for babies to grow and develop. Our experienced caregivers provide personalized attention and care to meet each child's unique needs. Our Infant program is designed for children aged 6 weeks to 18 months. The teacher to child ratio is 1 to 3 with a group size of 6 children which allows for each child’s needs to be quickly responded to and met. Room staffed by one Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) and one Early Childhood Education Assistant

Toddlers

Our toddler program encourages exploration and discovery through play-based learning. Our curriculum is designed to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development, preparing children for preschool. Our Toddler program is designed for children aged 18 to 30 months. The teacher to child ratio is 1 to 5 with a group size of 10 children which allows for both small and large group activities. Rocket Academy ELC has 2 toddler rooms, total capacity

Preschool

Our preschool program provides a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond. Our experienced teachers foster a love of learning and encourage children to become independent thinkers and problem-solvers.

Our Preschool Program is designed for children 2½ to 6 years of age. The teacher to child ratio is 1 to 8 with a group size of 24 children maximum which allows for both small and large group activities. Rocket Academy ELC has 2 preschool rooms, total capacity 44. Program Rooms are staffed by Registered Early Childhood Educators(RECE) and Early Childhood Education

Assistants.

Preschool 1

Our preschool 1 program is designed to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten. Our curriculum emphasizes literacy, math, and science skills while also promoting social and emotional development.
